The Congregation of the Blind Sisters of St. Paul belongs to a Paris neighborhood largely occupied by religious functions and dedicated to health facilities. We see the project as an opportunity for the site, a crucial moment where everything is flattened out, to get more readability and functionality, while trying to preserve the human scale and peaceful atmosphere of old Paris courts. To get a solid and coherent result of the operation, we designed our schema as a working basis to evolve during the development of the project with the clients, considering the needs and desires of the users.
The competition team was led by Mario Russo with Amilcar da Rocha Ferreira; Alberto Gatti with Marie Leyh and Laurie Tiradas did the studies.Stephan Le Diagon is following the construction site.
